Vacancy – Office Administrator

Description Due to an impending retirement later this summer, we wish to recruit an experienced administrator to join our busy team of 6 staff in our offices in Canmore Street, Dunfermline.
This is a permanent full-time position requiring 30-35 hours per week.

Duties Answering telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner.

Liaise with the sales and accounts teams in the office on a daily basis

Deal with the booking of new tours and altering and updating existing bookings with our trade suppliers at the golf courses, transport companies, hotels and other contacts.

Accuracy and efficient communication are essential.

Paying invoices to suppliers.

Maintaining accurate financial records.

Monitoring stocks of stationery and clients promotional goods.

Skills Word, Excel and the AXUS travel app are the main software programmes we use although others are frequently used as well.
Knowledge of the golf business and Scottish tourism industry generally would be advantageous.
Numeracy and good written English are essential.
Remuneration £20- £25K pa (FTE) depending on experience, plus year-end bonuses
Holidays 20 days per year plus 8 statutory holidays
Pension As per current government legislation
Start Date We intend the successful applicant to start in April/May.
